Behavior Guidance
The behavior
guidance techniques used by the staff will focus on positive reinforcement, positive
role modeling by adults, intervention techniques, and redirection.
By consistently following these techniques, we hope to lead the children
toward self discipline. Children will
be involved in finding solutions to their problems.
Safety of
the child and his/her classmates is of the highest importance.
Children who know classroom limits feel safe.
If a child’s misbehavior is disruptive or dangerous, a time
out in the director’s office may result.
If the child does not respond to the above behavior guidance techniques, parents
will be contacted and a conference will be scheduled.
